Most docking stations are confusing, expensive, and don't even charge the vehicles. ChargeLock is simple and intuitive – for the manager and the rider alike.
No station floor to level, bolt down, or keep dry. The cable does the work a rigid dock needs a slab for.
A rigid dock has to line the bike up with its connector, so it needs a large, flat, level floor. ChargeLock connects with a flexible cable, so riders plug in wherever the bike comes to rest: gravel, dirt, grass, or bumpy pavement.
The station meets the ground at only four points. With no metal floor to hold water, salt, and slush, nothing rusts through the way a full station deck does, and the fittings are weather-resistant.
The same station, two ways to run it.
Connect it to the grid or plug it into a standard outlet. It draws very little power, and every docked vehicle charges while it is locked.
Run it with no power at all. Vehicles still lock and rentals still end at the station, so nothing is ever stuck waiting on an outlet.
ChargeLock-equipped vehicles are GPS-tracked, have on-board locks for when they're away from home, and can be remotely controlled.
