Unlike traditional bikeshare systems, Metro Mobility e-bikes allow all-day or overnight rentals at an affordable price. With the built-in lock, you can secure your bike at work or home, use it for errands throughout the day, and return it to the station later.

Discounts

Income qualified users can receive a discount rate of just $1 per day. Simply download the app, fill out a short survey, and you'll receive an email to verify your income. You can send proof of participation in any income-qualified program such as EBT/SNAP, DTA, Fuel Assistance, Housing Choice, or MassHealth.

Built in Lock

Metro Mobility e-bikes have a built in cable lock allowing the bike to secure to any rack or pole while away from the station. Your rental will remain active. Simply tap Unlock in the app to start riding again.

Following the basics of bike safety will ensure an enjoyable and stress free ride.
• Wear a helmet
• Test ride in a controlled area before riding on the road
• Follow all traffic laws
• Ride on the right, with the flow of traffic
• When merging or turning, yield to traffic in your destination lane
• Use hand signals when turning
